How Can I Get Different IPs On My Kijiji Proxy?

If you are looking to setup your own Kijiji Proxy then you may want to give some thought to getting IPs from C class IP ranges. It isn't a topic that is discussed often, but by not making sure you are using IPs on your proxy server from different C class IP ranges you are opening the door to be blocked by Craiglsist.

IPs are seperated into four ranges, A B C and D. Ranges are used to keep track of and log the network and ID of the network. Everytime you connect to the internet you are given an IP which identifies you online. Disconnecting your computer from the internet and reconnecting typically gives you a different IP, but more often than not it is still within the same IP range. This allows companies and other people to more easily identify your activities as even after changing your IP, it hasn't changed enough so that one could make assumptions or try and track patterns of activity between your new and old IP. Kijiji could potentially use a setup that tracks IP activity to find similarities between IPs online and stop unwanted spam. If you wish to remain anonymous to Kijiji then C class IP ranges for your proxy server should help you to do so.

As already stated above, using IPs in the same C class IP range may make it possible for Kijiji to detect your activity even though you could be using several different accounts (since your new IP isn't varied enough from the old one to make you look like a completely different user). This very same concept of using different C class IP ranges applies to proxy servers and is something you should pay great attention to. Typically, IPs that are assigned to proxy servers are normally within the same C class range, this is something you should try to avoid. Remaining anonymous is very important for anyone posting ads in quantity on Kijiji, so be sure to get a Kijiji Proxy with IPs in different C class IP ranges.

What Is the Recommended Number of IPs for My Kijiji Proxy?

There are two main things that impact the number of IPs you should setup with your proxy server. How much money you can spend on your proxy and just how many ads you would like to post on Kijiji play an important role. If you don't have enough IPs you can't post enough ads. So obviously the more IPs you have the better if you are looking to post lots of ads. Do you just need to post a couple of ads each day on Kijiji? Or would you prefer to post at least 100 ads everyday? For those who would be happy with just one or two ads, one IP on your proxy server would be more than enough. Anymore than this would be a waste of money and resources. However, if you are looking to post 100 ads or higher then you will need to invest in at least 5 to 10 IPs to start with. Generally speaking, for every IP that you have on your proxy server you can post approximately 10 ads. Using that rule you should be able to quickly figure out if you have enough IPs on your Kijiji proxy to safely post ads with.

How to Find the Best Kijiji Proxy

If you have been forced down the road of setting up or looking for your own Kijiji proxy, then these tips may be of use.

* Make sure it is 100% anonymous - More often than not, you will see sites claiming that the proxies they provide are anonymous. However, you will find cases where this isn't exactly true. If you need to know how anonymous a proxy is, just go to http://www.whatismyipaddress.com and checking the results. If it shows anything like that you are using a proxy, it won't work for Kijiji.
* Multiple IPs - Serious Kijiji users should consider looking at getting more than one IP. One IP isn't enough unless you are only posting 1 or 2 ads a day. Check that the proxy provider has no problem with multiple IPs.
* FAST - Typically, you will find yourself using proxies that are so slow, you feel like jumping out a window. So slow in fact that dialup is faster. Ping the IPs of your proxy provider to see what kind of connection speed you have. You should really consider looking at getting something around the 200ms ping speed to use.

I hope those tips help you in finding your very own and hopefully reliable Kijiji proxies.

Kijiji Proxy

Wonder why your ads never show on Kijiji? There is a good reason for this and that is why you more than likely will need a Kijiji proxy to help you post ads. Kijiji owns many sites for several countries around the world. It is required that you must reside in the country you wish to post classified ads on, otherwise you will never see your ad. Kijiji does this to reduce the amount of spam from people in other countries. Why would someone want to post on another country website? People realize and understand that traffic from the USA is much more valuable than China and this is why. The work around for this problem is through the use of a proxy. Sadly, free proxies typically do not work. The reason why free proxies usually fail is because Kijiji is aware of and knows how to detect these free proxies. All they need to do then is automatically remove any advertisements that come from these free proxies. Another reason why free proxies aren't recommended is because they typically are very slow. Since they are free many people are trying to use it all at the sametime. Too many people results in a slow proxy which causes all of your internet surfing to take much longer than it should. So, if you are serious about putting advertisements on Kijiji consider getting a Kijiji proxy that you are the only one with access to.
